A brand new and exciting opportunity has just arisen with a £400 million turnover, Birmingham based Plc organisation for an experienced Developer to join an internal development team focused on delivering high quality commercial solutions to the business and its customers. The role will involve development of a variety of systems using a combination of technologies including C#, ASP.Net, AJAX, JavaScript, SQL Server, Winforms, WCF and Web Services in an n-tier environment. The role will also include development of Mobile Applications and the successful candidate will therefore be required to work with Microsoft Pocket PC, .Net Compact Framework and Smart Client.

We are seeking applications from candidates with a minimum of 3 years commercially gained development experience using ASP.Net, C#, AJAX, JavaScript, SQL Server, Winforms, .Net Framework 2.0, WF, WCF and Web Services. This should be coupled with experience of developing mobile applications using Pocket PC (or similar), .Net Compact Framework and Smart Client. You will have a good commercial awareness with the ability to work well as part of a busy, structured team in a large, multi site operation. Any exposure to SharePoint, MS Dynamics, UML, Windows 7 / XP or Microsoft Patterns would be advantageous. It is likely your experience will have been gained providing solutions for fast moving corporate organisations. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
