IT Business Analyst / Project Implementation - Cheadle, Cheshire

IT Business Analyst/IT Project Implemantation Manager, IT Development & Project Management Experience Essential, Requirements Gathering, GAP Analysis, Cheadle, Cheshire. A brand new role has just arisen with a leading International tour operator for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a busy in-house IT team. The role will be focused on analysing the needs of users to help identify potentital business problems, propose effective IT solutions and build & maintain project plans. You will ensure that requirements are specified clearly and accompanied by acceptance test cases. The role will also involve an element of dealing with 3rd party suppliers, ensuring that the vendor delivers an appropriate IT solution in line with budget and timescales. Specific tasks will include:

o Analysis of business needs and documenting IT solution requirements (50% of the role).
o Ensuring that IT procedures, policies and solutions are adhered to (10% of the role).
o Maintaining an up to date knowledge of key IT developments in the industry and amongst competitors (10% of the role).
o Track KPI's based on points for implemented changes (10% of the role).
o Oversee the execution against the project plans and objectives (10% of the role).

We are seeking applications from degree calibre candidates with proven IT development and business IT requirement/project management experience. You will likely have previous experience working within the travel/tour operator industry and a knowledge of travel industry specific applications is preferable. Needless to say your interpersonal and communication skills will be first class as will your natural organisational and time management skills. The role will involve some international travel (estimated 20% of the role) and therefore candidates must be flexible and willing to work away from base when required.
