Senior Support Developer, Analyst Programmer, Applications Development / Support, Solid VB6 and COM+ Experience Essential, Workflow, Large Bespoke Applications, Initial 6 Month Contract Assignment, Central London. A brand new contract assignment has just arisen with a respected end user organisation in Central London seeking the skills of an experienced Application Support Developer. Working as part of a busy internal Applications team who are responsible for the maintenance, support and development of the core bespoke application, you will initially assist with a backlog of requests for minor system enhancements, centred predominantly around VB6 and COM+.  You will also be required, on a rota basis, to provide 3rd line support for the core application as necessary and it is likely that the successful individual will move onto larger tasks as the contract progresses.

We are seeking applications from candidates who have considerable experience of working with complex and large bespoke applications with a real depth of experience in VB6 and COM+.  It is likely you will have worked in a similar integrated support and development environment and you must have worked on large scale core, Workflow based bespoke applications. You should also be comfortable providing telephone based 3rd line support as and when required. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation with a considerable amount of VB6 work to carry out. You will be joining a busy but friendly team tasked with taking the core application forwards.
