IT Business Analyst (Travel Industry) - Dorking, Surrey

Urgent Requirement, Initial 6 Month Fixed Term Contract, IT Business Analyst, Travel Industry Background Essential, Dorking, Surrey. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Business Analyst to support the roll out of a bespoke travel industry platform in the UK. Reporting to the head of Business Analysis for this major player within the travel / tour operator sector you will be responsible for the following:

o Work with local and global project management team and core team business analysts to ensure roll-out activities, issues and analyses are completed as required,
o Lead the team of local users, vendor consultant and trainers in the process of implementing the platform ensuring that issues are identified for tracking and that gaps in system capabilities, data load procedures or business processes are identified and handed off to appropriate resources for follow-up,
o Assist with any detailed local business analysis as required, reporting in the approved format, Provide regular status reports to Project Managment, attend conference calls as required with the rest of the project team.

We are seeking applications from candidates with proven Business Analysis experience gained within the travel / tour operator industry. Your commercially gained experience will include exposure to supporting business change and implementation of new IT initiatives. Needless to say you will be a first class communicator with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels. You should be comfortable with frequent travel.
