Senior Software Developer, Java, Object Oriented Design & Programming, Automated Unit Test Frameworks, GUI, Eclipse, Agile Development, SCRUM, St Albans, Hertfordshire. Our client, an established St Albans based software house, has an immediate requirement for an additional Senior Java Software Developer to join the team. Reporting to the Software Development Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for design, planning and implementation of software for an enterprise wide suite of application lifecycle management tools. Key task as part of your role will include:

* Development of graphical user interfaces (GUI) and integration using Eclipse IDE.
* Full lifecycle involvement covering product concept, design, code and delivery.
* Working closely with other developers and sharing expertise to ensure delivery of best in class products.

We are seeking applications from candidates with a degree in a relevant IT related subject coupled with considerable commercially gained Java Software Development experience. You should be highly competent in building applications using Java and will have a good knowledge of Object Oriented Design & Programming. Additionally you should be confident building automated unit test frameworks for GUI applications. Any of the following would be advantageous: Experience of Eclipse; Software Configuration Management Tools; Agile Development (SCRUM); C++, Access, SQL or Oracle.
