IT Helpdesk Support Analyst, Service Desk Analyst, Microsoft Windows XP, MS Office XP, ITIL, MCDST, Central Birmingham, West Midlands. A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Helpdesk Support Analyst to join a dynamic professional services organisation in the heart of Birmingham. Working as part of the established and growing IT Helpdesk of this Sunday Times Top 100 Company you will be responsible for supporting a large user base covering sites throughout the country. Working within an ITIL environment you will be tasked with logging calls in a timely and effective manner, resolving user issues and where necessary escalating to an appropriate technician. The technical environment is predominantly Microsoft based although SAP is due to be implemented in the very near future. Consequently the successful candidate can also expect to gain exposure to SAP Support as part of the role.
We are seeking applications from candidates with around 2 years commercially gained IT Helpdesk / Service Desk experience supporting Microsoft Windows XP, MS Office and MS Outlook. The ideal candidate would also have an understanding of ITIL principles and it would be a major advantage if you have prior experience of SAP. It is likely that the successful candidate will have worked in a large, structured, corporate environment. MCDST qualification required.
