VB Developer x2, Visual Basic, ASP.Net, SQL Server, Web Applications, MS Access, Relational Database, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, East Anglia. A large Peterborough based financial services organisation has identified two new requirements calling upon the skills of experienced VB Developers. They currently have an MS Access based legacy system which is being replaced by .Net and the two new developers will play a lead role in this transition. You will be required to develop and implement effective systems using modern web based technologies and following their implementation will be required to enhance and maintain the systems in an fast paced and changing environment.

Due to the importance of this migration project we are seeking applications from candidates with considerable development experience using web based technologies and specifically VB, ASP.Net and SQL Server. Ideally you would also some prior experience of migration projects from legacy systems (specifically MS Access). This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting project which will shape the use of IT for the business for the foreseeable future.
