Newly Created Role, IT Change & Problem Manager, Implement Standards for Change / Release / Configuration & Service Level Management Processes, ITIL Certificate Essential, Central Birmingham, West Midlands. A brand new role has been created with a leading City Centre based law firm calling upon the skills of an experienced IT Change & Problem Manager. Working directly with the Head of IT Operations the successful candidate will assist, from beginning to end, with the implementation of formalised standards for change, release and configuration management and define Service Level Management processes. On an ongoing basis you will then manage and monitor the newly implemented processes in line with ITIL best practice principles.
We are seeking applications from candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years change and problem management experience coupled with an ITIL Foundation Certificate (and ideally Certificate in Change Management). You should have practical experience of developing and managing internal & external relationships including third parties and will have a good understanding of process design, documentation and continuous quality improvement. First class interpersonal skills are essential as is a good working knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and general Service Desk / Helpdesk software.
