Database Developer (FileMaker) - Cobham, Surrey Database Developer, FileMaker Developer, FileMaker, MS Windows, Apple Mac, SQL, ODBC, Cobham, Surrey. An established organisation in the heart of Cobham has an immediate vacancy calling upon the skills of an experienced FileMaker Developer. Working from the Head Office site you will be tasked with responsibility for design, development, support and maintenance of core databases that underpin the activities of this end user organisation. The primary database is based on FileMaker on both MS Windows and Apple Macintosh platforms. Applications are invited from candidates with considerable commercially gained exposure to FileMaker Database Development and general systems administration experience. Any programming or scripting skills would be advantageous and in particular exposure to HTML, ODBC, SQL, Java, PHP or ASP would be a major benefit. In addition to strong technical expertise the successful candidate will have good interpersonal and communication skills and will be open to exploring the use of new and emerging technologies as part of the role.
