Desktop Support Technician, Windows XP, MS Office XP, Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory, User Administration, Password Resets, Opportunity to gain Server experience, Central London (W1). A fantastic new opportunity has arisen with a leading financial services organisation in London calling upon the skills of an enthusiastic Desktop Support Technician. Working in a small hands-on team of IT technicians, as part of a larger national IT department, you will be expected to assist end users with various hardware and software support issues surrounding their Microsoft based desktops. The role will also include responsibility for basic user administration issues such as password resets, adding / removing users, etc using Active Directory.

We are seeking applications from enthusaistic candidates with around 12-18 months commercially gained 1st and 2nd line IT Support experience. You should be confident in your ability to support the Microsoft product suite including Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory and MS Office XP. In order to considered suitable candidates must be strong communicators with the ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
